Often found above bay windows and the like, the lead can be formed to provide a fully watertight, and lasting alternative to felt roofing.
Of course with any leadwork there is the increased cost of the installation, but never the less this option seems to remain within the roofing industry, and with the right installation, can provide a solid roof for 60-70 years.
The lead can also be formed to create a decorative finish to bay windows and canopy’s.
